The College of Production & Operations Management was registered by the Federal Government under the extant laws on10th March 2003 with the following objects:
* To promote professional excellence and provide education and training in all aspects of Production and Operations Management in manufacturing, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, construction, public sector utilities, works, and services.
*To provide technical, technological, and engineering services.
* To establish and manage education and training institutions, centres and schools, provide tuition, conduct examinations and award certificates, diplomas or other qualifications solely or in partnership with Universities, Polytechnics, or other institutions.
COPOM IS A PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTION FOR ALL CADRES.
COPOM is not an academic but a professional institution for undergraduate/graduate and postgraduate studies.
