Describing the College of Production & Operations Management (COPOM) as the preferred education and training institution of the Nigerian employers, especially in the industrial sector the Provost and Dean of studies, Dr. Olaniyi Opanuga said that the College has helped University and Polytechnic graduates to build upon their academic knowledge for improved career prospects.
Speaking recently at a staff training course by an international manufacturing company based in Ilupeju Lagos. Dr. Opanuga recalled that the College provided a veritable platform to build the skills required for desired job prospects. “COPOM has helped immensely to improve graduate employability in the manufacturing sector due to its rich curriculum content that is taught by highly knowledgeable educators, industry-job-specific experts and reputable professionals who transfer practical knowledge and share the real-world experience”, he added.
